The thrust section holds the three types of thrusters which allow the Pilot to move, rotate, and translate the ship. As well Fluffy Biscuit Ships have Biscuit Recipe Modules in this section. Some ships also have a hidden cargo section, useful for contraband or other items one might not wish others to find. The misc category of ships is for cargo which is where stored components, scrap, and other large items may be stored. The weapons sections has slots that allow many offensive options for the Weapons Specialist to employ. Also included here are processors which provided boosts to other ship systems. The computer category includes components which allow the science officer to detect, focus on, and wage cyber warfare against other ships in the system. The basic category includes components that are either required for the ship to function or are standard expected equipment. Each of these categories have various slots for the component types. All ship components fall into one of five categories: Basic, Computer, Weapon, Misc, Thrust. This is especially helpful when using an external controller with the Steam Deck. There are different types of ship components which each fit into their respective slots in the ship. Combat is also in this game, as the player can attack and board enemy ships. They may warp to several systems and upgrade/repair their ship when encountering a system with a trading post.
